Paris Jackson
Full name: Paris Michael Katherine Jackson.
Birth date: April 3, 1998.
Birth place: Los Angeles, California, USA.
Known as: Michael Jackson's second child, Michael Jackson's daughter.
Paris Jackson is the second child of the late Michael Jackson, and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe. Paris Jackson was 11 years old at the time of her pop-icon father's untimely death.
For much of her childhood, Paris was shielded from the public eye. Michael's children wore masks when they traveled and stayed with him overseas. Her decision to speak at her father's memorial was reportedly unplanned and surprising considering her seclusion from the public eye.
On July 7, 2009, Paris Jackson spoke at her father's memorial service. Paris memorialized her father with these words, "I just wanted to say ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. I just wanted to say I love him so much." She then turned and was comforted by her relatives.
In response to the public belief that the children are not related to Jackson biologically, his brother Tito Jackson denied that assumption, but on Sunday, August 9, 2009, Mark Lester stated that he "gave Michael my sperm so that he could have kids — and I believe Paris is my daughter." He said he was willing to take a paternity test in order to prove his belief, so that he would be able to have continued contact with the children.
Paris Jackson's childhood has been hidden from public life. She was born to Debbie Rowe, a nurse, who was married briefly to "The King of Pop," Michael Jackson. Following the break-up of her parent's marriage, she spent most of her time traveling with her father and living in the Persian Gulf in Bahrain.
Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, was awarded custody of the children immediately following the death of Jackson. In Jackson's will, he stated he wanted the children to be with his mother upon his death and if something were to happen to her, he wanted to children to go with Diana Ross.
